注文の種類

In this lesson, we will explore the types of orders that are available to traders. But let’s first define what an order is. An order is an offer sent via the trading platform (MT4) to open or close a transaction. It’s an order to start or stop trading for any given trading instrument. You could start buying or selling a trading instrument (the initiation of a position), while termination is the closing of an existing position that you previously opened. PipsとPip値

Pip is an acronym for percentage in point or price interest point. In FX pairs, the smallest unit of change in an exchange rate of a currency pair is referred to as a “pip”. A single pip is in the fourth decimal place and equals a change of 0.0001. For example, if today the EUR/USD rate is 1.1110 and tomorrow it’s 1.1121, that would mean that the pair has moved upwards by 11 pips. However, Yen crosses differ as a pip is quoted with two decimal places.  Therefore, one pip in these crosses equals 0.01. Also, when discussing the pip, it’s important to mention the fractional pip, sometimes called a […]

取引サイズ(ロット)

Forex is commonly traded in specific amounts called lots. Typically, a standard lot represents 100,000 units of the base currency. Let’s consider the example of USD/JPY, where the base currency is USD. In this case, one lot in USD/JPY is equivalent to 100,000 USD. Similarly, in GBP/USD where GBP is the base currency, a lot is valued at 100,000 GBP. In EUR/USD, a lot would be worth 100,000 EUR. Note that there are also variations of the standard lot size. These include the mini lot, which equals one tenth of a standard lot, or 10,000 units of the base currency. There is also the micro lot, which is one hundredth […]

Leverage is an investment strategy where you can trade with a small portion of your own capital while borrowing the rest.  In retail FX trading, where traders use CFDs (Contracts for Difference) to trade currency pairs, brokers will set aside, for example, just 1000 USD to allow you to control a position equivalent to 100,000 USD. This means that your leverage is 1:100 as you can control as position size of 100,000 USD by committing only 1000 USD which represents your margin. This is often referred to as “trading on a margin”. For example, if the EUR/USD exchange rate is 1.1000 and you choose leverage of 1:10, you would only […]
